I finally managed to get some sewing done on Tuesday.
Sewing with three little kids in the house is a little more complicated then
sewing with two. Blair has the uncanny ability to wake up and start
fussing just when I sit down to sew.
BUT, progress has been made:
Blair's bloomers are done.
(Ian laughs when I say that word)
Getting this section pinned took one-and-a-half hours.
Frown.
ALMOST
complete the rest of the bodice.

Bloomer is a ridiculous sounding word. It almost makes me laugh too. :) 1 1/2 hours to pin the crazy bloomers?! Definitely the reason why I don't sew!
All these little dresses make me smile :-) "Bloomers" is a much nicer word than calling them "panties" like my pattern said. I HATE that word!
No, it took me 1 1/2 hours to get that one SECTION pinned, 'cause of those interrupting kids.
Sounds like the plan may just come together. Hurrah! I used to sew late at night because I hated interruptions. You should see how cute the plaid ties look as belts on the bridesmaid dresses.
I loved having little bloomers for my girlies so they could look like a lady but play like the tomboys they all were.
The wedding clothes are going to be so adorable.
You probably don't want to hear this, but I had WAY more sewing time when the kids were younger. Gotta love the naptime-when kids nap, that is. :) I sewed many hours with a baby on my lap. It only works until they began touching the buttons on the machine.
Love your ambition. Hope it's contagious by visiting your blog.
